• 1 can mixed beans
  • 1lb of extra lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 bag mixed veg
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Chili powder to taste
  • 2tbs brown sugar
  • 1tbs cumin
  • 1tbs
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Mix together in a large pot on med-high heat until it begins to simmer.  Turn heat down to low and let simmer for 1 -5hrs.  You can also cook this in a slow cooker or crock pot.

A serving for women is 1c, for men is 1.5c

For lunch serve with 1 slice of Silverhills bread or rice or quinoa.
